The village of Hamler is located on State Routes 109 and 18 in
southern Henry County. Population of Hamler is listed at 650
according to the U.S. Census.

This small, close-knit, agricultural community has a strong German
heritage. We are best known for our annual polka festival - "The
Grand Daddy of them All" as it is has become known. This event is
held the last full weekend of July, bringing thousands of people to
this small town.

Hamler is the proud home of the Patrick Henry Patriots. Both on the
field and in the classroom, the community takes great pride in its
"Excellent" rated school district.

Even though small in size, Hamler has a number of businesses that
offer people a variety of products and services. Conveniently located,
there are a number of larger metropolitan areas within a short
driving distance.
